When Craig Doby told me I had Eribaby’s debut in my inbox I was like “ok den show me something hot and I’ll write about it.”

Officially this is another banger from YM The Goer, but it could just as easily been the first single of ol’ girl’s solo album with YM as the feature.

YM sets the scene by building a lyrical stage for Eribaby to shine on. His player lyrics help establish the reason the two of them are even in a video at all- and then you figure out there is some real G shit goin on.

Then Eribaby takes over.

That cool guitar strum over the beat made me want to start rapping my damn self so I was sold from the jump, plus I’m a sucker for any lyrics that involve piranha, Yo throw this one in the whip for sure and keep it hot this winter.

Today’s episode of COFFEE+BONGHITS took a somber turn today and served as a disturbing reminder of the futuristic police state we live in.

Mario, an Army medic turned protest medic, was detained this past weekend in his own driveway by armed US Marshalls- the same type of law enforcement officers who eye-witnesses say shot a man to death in Washington last week. The same US Marshalls who the president recently took credit for sending.

In this interview he details his arrest in front of his family, including his 5 year old daughter, and the disgusting conditions of his detainment.

Details are being purposely withheld during the interview, but enough is revealed to remind us no one is safe- not even at home.

This is a developing story and more details will emerge as can be safely revealed.

It was great to catch up with Josh Larsen (@ shutupstupid13 on all platforms). I gotta admit though I was slightly distressed to find out he’s a member of anonymous doorbell snitch gang.

I can’t begrudge him though. Lots of people probably want that changing screen besides just me.

So I ask him if he does dabs and then we talk shit about dabs. We don’t go very deep but it was crazy to see how much some of the true players out there are consuming on the daily.

It was my big day.

I had never met Craig Doby but my man Jimbo Gower told me he was solid people.

And to be perfectly honest, Jim could have even told me he was shady and it wouldn’t have mattered. If there’s a banana peel involved you can overlook a lot of character flaws.

But Craig is dope. And he shoots dope videos.

The new video is for the song “Gotta Get It” from rapper Dub Dynamite- but I never actually got to meet him. Most of the footage had already been shot on another day in front of one of my very favorite places in the whole city City Liquidators.

They didn’t bring me in to meet people or to shake hands though. They brought me in for one job and Jim set the tone early with his professionalism.

So here’s the whole video.

Dub Dynamite articulates a message of hard work and effort equaling success. Combining a gorgeous dancer with a dude who must have had to do a million stairs and push-ups for the shoot- the video is a montage over a motivating track that should resonate with anyone pushing towards their goals above all the dumb shit. Maximum respect for letting me be a part of it.
